Hendry Builders – Responsive Website

Owner Alec Hendry approached us about refreshing his old website, giving it a cleaner feel, update links and making it easy to view across multiple formats.

Hendry Builders now has a fully responsive website, in keeping with his brand with added stylish touches and gallery page, focusing on key business elements such as his Which? Trusted Trader membership and great craftsmanship.

Lantern House – Responsive Website Design & Build

A simple but effective website for Lantern House, a holiday cottage based on the North Yorkshire Coast. Large images, pastel beach colours with clean text areas mean clients can browse and book with ease.

The owners can update the site independently via an easy to use customised Wordpress dashboard.

Northolme – Website & Branding

For Northolme, a large self-catering holiday cottage on the Yorkshire coast, we were tasked with creating a complete brand in a modern yet classic style, to match the contemporary tone of the property.

Starting with a clean and simple logo, we then designed and built an extensive website, including a fully functional booking platform.

Rustic Gems – Branding, Print & Social Media

1348 Design worked with Rustic Gems on creating a logo and branding to fit in with the look and feel of their products.

We then used this branding to assist in the set up of Rustic Gems social media presence on Facebook and Instagram, as well as producing printed materials including business cards, flyers, and gift vouchers.

Rick Lyons – Website

Writer Rick Lyons approached us with a clean, simple design in mind for his website, with the additional of an unusual horizontal scrolling style, to showcase his work.

It was important to Rick that he was able to update the content of his site himself, so we built the site around the Wordpress content management system.

Helen Day approached 1348 Design to produce both printed and digital materials to promote her Hove and London based cognitive hypnotherapy practices.

We have worked with Helen on creating several printed flyers focusing on various specific services, as well as an illustrated digital publication, in a style that complements her branding.

For creative consultant Jen Farrant, 1348 Design we asked to produce a simple logo for use across both print and digital media.

As communication is a key part of Jen’s work, we found a way to represent this in a visual yet subtle way, with a colour pallet fitting with her pre-existing brand.

The Portnalls Group – Responsive Website

The Portnalls Group cover a range of professional services including security, cleaning and property maintenance. We were approached to update the pre-existing site with a completely new design.

Our main goal for the Portnalls site was to modernise the look and feel of the design, bringing it more in to line with the branding found in their printed material.

The Cambridge Annex – Digital Book Covers

1348 Design were asked to create a trio of digital book covers for Peter Damon’s series of science fiction novels to be released on Kindle.

We produced designs with abstract illustrations and clean fonts for a sci-fi feel, with each cover subtly reflecting a theme within each book.

The Relentless Nature Of Dust – Printed Book Cover

For his fourth book, Brighton based poet Phil Lucas wanted a front cover design based on the title of the collection; The Relentless Nature Of Dust.

After an initial photo-shoot, we produced several designs featuring different images and styles. The final cover has on a sleek design featuring a close-up photograph of a feather duster.

Stadium Signage – Website and Branding

Stadium-Signage is a family-run company based in the South East, with over ten years experience in the signage industry. For their new website they wanted something eye-catching yet professional and with a sporting theme.

We started from the ground up, taking elements from the sporting world to create a bold crest based logo for Stadium Signage. After finalising the design, we went on to build a comprehensive website based on the new branding style.

Stash Sounds – CD Sleeve

For hip-hop artist Stash Sounds debut EP ‘Footwear’ 1348 Design created an original illustration featuring the artist depicted in the soles of a pair of trainers.

The design was created with both print and digital media in mind and the record was released on CD and on iTunes in 2008.

Crawley Archery Club – Website & Branding

1348 Design took inspiration from Crawley Archery Club’s crow logo when re-designing their website. The site was completely rebuilt in a clean and clear style, making it easy for members and newcomers alike to navigate.

We also carried this theme across in the design of printed handouts and certificates as well as large format event banners.
